What is an Affiliate Member?
AES Affiliates are organizations and establishments in government, academia, business, and industry committed to the study, management, preservation and protection of the environment.

Who can join?
AES Affiliates include various types of institutions, establishments and organizations anywhere in the world such as government, private, academic institutions, associations, both profit-oriented and nonprofit-oriented.  AES, however, reserves the right to decline a request for membership.

Why should we join?
AES Affiliates become part of a worldwide community with vast networking opportunities for information exchange as well as academic, career, and business advancement. Groups of diverse environmental interests band together and bridge the gap between their interests to address shared challenges and together work for a better understanding, management, preservation and protection of the environment.

What is the commitment?
As Affiliate your commitment would be:

  • To express public support for the study, management, preservation and protection of the environment.
  • To support the Mission and Vision of AES.
  • To appoint a representative to act on behalf of the Affiliate in AES involvement.

What is the cost of joining as an Affiliate Member?

Affiliate membership is free of charge. 

How do we join?
Click the link below to open the Affiliate Membership Form.  Fill out the form and submit.The form is designed to be interactive.  Sometimes the form is not displayed properly (i.e., not interactive) when opened with your internet browser.  When this happens, download and save the form into your computer and open with Adobe Acrobat (preferred) or Adobe Acrobat Reader (which you can download for free).  Using Adobe Acrobat allows you to save in your computer the form you have filled out.  With Adobe Acrobat Reader, you will not be able to save your filled-out form but you can print it and scan for emailing to AES.
